Problem

There are 33 million people in the U.S. grappling with food allergies and over 200,000 reaction emergency calls made annually.

Solution

FAI (Food Allergies & Intolerances) is a new FDA regulation system that keeps record of the presence of allergens & intolerances in every food product and restaurant. With the dedicated app, scan food items and menus with our unified label system to quickly identify potential allergens.

Competitor Analysis

Shockingly, the current landscape reveals a singular allergy food scanner app named Fig. Regrettably, its product coverage is notably constrained, and users are required to pay a monthly subscription fee, raising concerns about accessibility and affordability in the market.

By creating a new allergen system for the FDA, we believe there is plenty of room for design, accessibility and functionality in the allergy app realm.
